Engineering Ltd designs and manufactures an innovative
range of showers, taps, mixers and accessories (Britannia
by Marflow) for the domestic and commercial markets.
And specialist valves and pre-fabricated fan coil connection
sets (Hydronics by Marflow) for the industrial plumbing,
heating and air-conditioning markets. These
two distinct business enterprises operate from Marflow's
Britannia House headquarters, a 2.2 acre freehold
site in Birmingham, the traditional heart of the Midlands
brassware industry.
Established in 1968, the successful
owner-managed business houses a CAD design studio,
a purpose-built laboratory, production assembly facilities,
prototype workshop, display and training suite, warehousing
and despatch facilities.
Marflow operates a quality management
system approved to BS EN ISO 9002.1994.
Britannia field sales representatives
service bathroom specialists, plumbing wholesalers
and original equipment manufacturers in the UK and
overseas.
All product displays are manufactured
in-house by a dedicated team. Updated continuously
to take into account latest designs and colours, the
displays are despatched to distributors worldwide
to support sales of Britannia products.
John R Hurlstone and Partners, a
specialist sales organisation with offices in Bury,
London and the Midlands, sell and support Marflow
hydronic products to the HVAC industry. The Midlands
team operates out of Marflow's Britannia House headquarters
ensuring a seamless join between the two companies.
Marflow is also the UK distributor
for a complete range of valves, manifolds and fittings
for water, gas, heating, anti-pollution and fire-fighting
industries. Manufactured by Fratelli Pettinaroli spa
of Italy, Marflow has enjoyed a long standing association
with Pettinaroli since 1974.
Marflow operates a continuous improvement
strategy, invests in staff training, information technology
and places great value on team work and staff suggestion
